Chocolate Chip Cookie #10 from I’m Just Here for More Food (Alton Brown)

Mix and set aside:
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt

Now mix together the wet ingredients:
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled [I used salted butter because I love the combination of salty and sweet together and also it’s what I usually have on hand]
2 large egg yolks
1 t. vanilla extract

Now add the dry to the wet and mix gently with a wooden spoon. Do not over mix!! The one time this recipe didn’t work out was when we overmixed it (and they turned out flat and greasy). While there is still some flour showing, add 2 c. chocolate chips and mix the rest of the way.

Bake 10-11 minutes or until golden at 375.
